both amazing at home.

Neither knew how to play in the subcontinent.

Haynes could play swing, Warner can't.

simple.

Haynes was the batting standout when the WI lost the controversial 79/80 series in NZ. The rest of the lineup tried to hit through the line as they had on bouncier, truer Australian wickets but Haynes adapted.

Not really sure why Haynes is winning by this margin. He has bad numbers away from home too.
The only place Haynes completely failed was India. He has a couple of elite knocks in Pakistan despite an underwhelming average and was very good in England and New Zealand where opening is difficult. Excellent tour of Australia when he went there in his prime.

Averaging more at home than Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd and Gordon Greenidge is probably an underappreciated accomplishment. Very good on eye test too. Definitely ahead of Warner imo. Much better player of lateral movement and matches Warner's home dominance on some dicier wickets.
