Dear Diary,

The life of a professional footballer isn't all it's cracked up to be. I mean, the team is going fantastically, and that's all well and good. However, perosnally I'm not all that happy. Only played one match this season (6-0 win v Blackpool in League One), in which I played 90 minutes and scored a goal. I have had no other opportunities to impress. However, I have full faith in the manager and am backing him all the way.

Off the field, things could be going better. Camps seems to hate me for some reason. Personally, I think he's deranged. But otherwise the lads are great. Training is always fun and the bloke behind the bar at the local gets a work out when the Webbers boys are around.

Dear Diary
Yesterday the manager took Tom, Neil and I into a seperate room to tell us that weve been selected for the England squad.
Halsey fainted
Pickup burst into histeric tears
and I ran round and round in circles until it hurt
we dont know when our first game is but 'Old Man Malone' will tell us soon
i cant beleive it were gonna be playing in the world cup qualifiers
still keeping my form for webbers as well
still no goals but im loving it none the less

We just had a big club meeting as the manager wants to give us more game time so the players that dont get selected for the first xi are going to run around in the reserves, so then next game it will be rotated to the first xi and visa versa, i am happy with that casue at this stage i just want to play goot football with these blokes. Unfortunately i have picked up a bit of an injury after playing probably the best game of my career so far picking up 3 goals and man of the match. but hey thats life, the bioss has the best physio team ontop of my injury, but most concerning is that we have a few injuries so the medical staff are getting a run for there money. We are sitting pretty on top of the table and we are feeling pretty good about it but it still bugs me that we lost first round in the cup and that would have been so cool to play against alot of the bigger clubs, but hey we are travelling ok so............played a couple of internationals aswell. we killed it in our 2 games and the boys went really well with fox getting 4 in one game, what a player and a champion...also kears, paid and robertinho picked up goals and i knocked one past so its all good at the moment. talk to ya soon, i have to jump in the oxygen tent..........

Gday diary


Coach Bugs malone just announced we are all fighting for spots. Thats ok i want the challenge and i think its good for the club, that we are all pushing each other to the limit. We just got new training facilities and they are superb. its looking good for us, as the coach has his 3 year plan to get us into europe by that stage so that will be un real....all the boys have gelled together nicely and its just a matter of time before the trophies start hitting our shelves...........

I overheard Rob telling Nick that Marc is "too talented". He seemed to be suggesting that he's lazy, arrogant and overcasual. I also noticed Rob breaking the locker room eye contact rule.
