David Warner

halba

International 12th Man
I mean, we get a very flat track, and he still fails anyway, hes been total crap for 3-4 years now.

They will probably persist with him in all 5 tests, but in a key series we need a good bat up top- he's not it.

He's played some handy knocks in the India/England Tests but if Australia lose this 3rd Test and the Ashes are still up for grabs, surely Warner's spot has to be under some doubt?

To argue he's justified his spot in these English Tests is only because of low expectations beforehand; he's averaging less than 25 over these 4 Tests.

I think hes completely done. You cant persist with him.

Playing 60 balls....he just played two 5 ball innings this test, plus only 7 balls from Broad for twice out, drop his arse

The worst thing for me is that I loved watching Warner and was a big fan. Last few years of guaranteed selection no matter what though means I can't wait for him to stop playing. He's destroying his legacy every game he plays now

Warner has been a great player for Australia with the emphasis on “has been”

It’s like watching a boxer who doesn’t know when to hang them up

Warner will probably “pick up an injury during training” and be replaced before Old Trafford.

Niall

International Coach
He should have retired from tests this years Australian summer and retire from short forms at World Cup

How is his ODI form these days?

No reason to play him in the world cup just because of "loyalty" if he is cooked.
