But they are so delicious in the Indian restaurants in Australia. As well as Beef Vindalloo!masterblaster said:Stay away from all the Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken's and Korma's!
Home made is fine, as Sudeep was suggesting. Some restaurant's in India, lets just say dont follow the same guidelines with food safety as most Indian Restaurants in Australia do.KennyD said:But they are so delicious in the Indian restaurants in Australia. As well as Beef Vindalloo!
Whats with the problems with eating curries on the sub-continent? Are they not the same as those curries served by Indian restaurants in foreign countries?
Are you guys playing a match at Bombay? If so, make sure you go for dinner at "The Chinese Room" - best Chinese food I've tasted anywhere.masterblaster said:Home made is fine, as Sudeep was suggesting. But as I said, you can eat all the Butter Chicken, Korma, Rogan Josh, Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken in like a 5 Star Hotel such as The Marriot or the Taj 5 Star, or the Hilton. Since they're internationally renowned hotels, they need to follow strict guidelines.
The local's however, will give you some great authentic food, but sometimes they might not follow really sanitary procedures, which isn't too good.

no.. not reallymarc71178 said:One wouldn't expect too many to be in to be honest - it'd be more than a tad unfair on those in the XI to be replaced when they didn't go on the A tour to give less experienced players a chance.
In an ideal world that would be the situation, however we have seen many times around the world when players have been 'assured' of a place on tour, yet somebody else who is playing and keeping their name in the hat and their performances are so good they demand selection. It all boils down to the position of the selectors.marc71178 said:What I'm trying to say is that any fringe XI players that didn't go on tour should by definition not be replaced by anyone on tour (since their place was deemed secure enough that they wouldn't need to go onn the tour to prove themselves)
