Lindwall is deserving and seems to have this one sewn up.

time to set up the Holding momentum for the next round.

Holding
I prefer Andy Roberts over Michael Holding. More skillful and just as quick in his prime.

Wisden has Roberts officially clocked at 159.6 kph

Roberts is in my top 15.Will say he is underrated if he doesn’t make the 20 tho.Seems like lindwall, Younis ,holding,Davidson will complete the 15.Would have Roberts ahead of holding but it’s close call.

According to Wisden in his debut series, Holding "had shown himself to be Roberts' natural opening partner and indeed was timed to be faster than Jeff Thomson , Dennis Lillee and Andy_Roberts...

Roberts over Holding is a very peculiar call imo, they played for the same team in the same era and Holding ended up with comfortably better numbers , clearly any skill advantage Roberts had was offset by something that Holding did better.

I value Gavaskar’s opinion.....

"Two bowlers whom I feared in terms or pace, and quality of bowling. In terms of pace, I think Jeff Thomson was the quickest and in terms of the ability to get your out any time, it was Andy Roberts, with Malcolm Marshall, Richard Hadlee and Imran Khan just a bit below. But Andy had the great ability to get you out even if you’re past a 100. He was the bowler you had to be most watchful against," Gavaskar said.
