But that just spells JADEJA.As Alan Davidson said: "capital S, capital I, capital R."
I came across a thread of this being done about 15 years ago, so thought it would be interesting to do it again to see how the results may change. The goal of this exercise will to come up with an official CW list of test batsmen. I will probably go till at least #25, but possibly more. I'll also skip #1, since its pretty obvious who would win that one.
The List
1. Don Bradman
List your #2 test batsmen of all time.
in a poll for First Class cricketers B Richards will break into the top 50. in the tests he should not be considered.Barry Richards (who should have been top 10-15).
Good point. Barry was a great batsman but never mastered using a mobile phone.in a poll for First Class cricketers B Richards will break into the top 50. in the tests he should not be considered.
G Smith and Hayden played 100+ tests and averaged 48/51 playing all over the world against so many bowlers from different generations. Their achievements should not be diluted by bringing in a 4 text wonder to the discussion.
I think the order after like the first 25 or like the ATGs just becomes somewhat meaningless. I think I'll just end this one soon and start an openers list. Are Hayden/Sehwag/GSmith being ridiculously underrated by this thread?
