Why the votes for Kohli? He's been terrible during Covid. Hasn't scored any 100s and looks out of sorts. There are so many other Indians who could be nominated - Rohit, Ashwin, Axar, Bumrah, Pant etc, but Kohli????? Great player, but mediocre during covid

In tests he's been worst of the big 4 as well as worse than Marnus, Rohit, Babar, Conway, and Usman

Root has played ODIs in this period and averages about 50. Hopefully he is back in the ODI side sooner rather than later.

The vote came in as a response to the poster who said "that tall lanky so and so who averaged 14...which clearly meant Jamieson and not Patel.

I'll add in a vote for Patel if the original poster confirms he actually meant that, so @Flem274* over to you fella!

I just reviewed the post...he responded to me responding to Flem for a name. It's clear he is trying to claim Flems 14 averaging vote is Axar and not Jamieson.

Having just seen his post again, he has also jumped on the Kohli brigade, so pretty clear what's happening here.
