Absolutely gutted with that loss, purely down to the batsmen not doing their job and leaving it to the bowlers, particularly in that second innings. We were simply outplayed by some magnificent bowling at the other end, but even with bowling going that well, the batsmen should do better, noting the late displays of Hancock and McNamara in particular as something that the upper order batsmen could take not of.

It's amazing how such a strong show can be made in warmup games and almost every player can suddenly let go when it comes to the crunch.

Still, it seems we can only look to improve, and I know that our players have the potential to do much, much better - and I remain confident for the season ahead.
