- 44.4 Bowman to Warwick: OUT! What a huge wicket! Warwick is very dangerous and the new guy has him. Bowman is all smiles in celebration with his team mates. McNamara took a smart catch at the lone slip. What a bold bit of captaincy it was to have him in there at this stage!
Love the tactics, Townsy ;)

Blacks require 33 runs from 12 balls with 3 wickets in hand.

Fitzsimmons and Smith in the middle with some work to do. It's a must-win for the Blacks. They need to chase 282 for a berth

in the OD final. We all know who the Reds are backing...

Smith to face...

5.6 Bowman to Smith: played late and that runs away past second slip to the vacant third man -FOUR! The first boundary of the

innings.
8.1 Thomas to Smith: lovely shot! Short but not too wide. Smith made room and uppercut it over first slip for FOUR!
14.6 Hancock to Smith: He's done it again! The golden arm of Hancock gets Smith with the last ball of the fielding

restrictions! Big first wicket!

- The end of the 22nd over and the game interestingly poised. Very even.
- 24.2 Hancock to Blackman: cut away! That's FOUR!
- 24.5 Hancock to Fitzsimmons: lofted straight! FOUR runs! That shot is remniscent of a young Fitzsimmons...
- BREAKING NEWS! Sean Bennett has been ******ed out of the ground for obscene exposure.
- McNamara replaces Hancock for the 27th over. It's 125/1...
- 26.1 McNamara to Fitzsimmons: swept very fine! That's FOUR! No! It's pulled back well by Nayak. They get 3... a

half-century for Fitzsimmons!

SG Fitzsimmons 52 (81 balls), 2 fours, 0 sixes

- Comley replaces Nayak.
- 27.4 Comley to Fitzsimmons: OUT! Spectacular delivery! It pitched on offstump and spun back through the gate to kncok back

his middle stump. What a ball!
- 29.4 Comley to Kearsley: The other way! This is some high class spin bowling from David Comley. He's knocked over Kearsley

with the wrong 'un. He had no clue.
- 30.6 McNamara to Butler: swept hard and square - FOUR! That'll give him some much-needed confidence.
- 31.2 Comley to Blackman: down the track and timed beautifully through the covers. FOUR! Great shot.
- 34.2 McNamara to Blackman: lofted high and over cover... FOUR!
- 34.3 McNamara to Blackman: he goes for it again! This time it takes the outer edge and Towns takes it! Super catch by Towns

at backward point. Diving forward well.
- 35.1 Comley to Butler: he missed the sweep. Big shout for LBW! Not out.
- 35.2 Comley to Butler: and OUT! Taken easily at midwicket. Butler went for the sweep again, but could only pick out Hancock

who held it easily.
- 35.3 Comley to Thompson: EDGED! Past the diving Nayak at slip and that runs away for FOUR!
- 37.6 Comley to Dubb-Lynch: HOWZHE?! Up goes the finger! The crowd erupts because Comley has another! What a spell!
- 43.1 Comley to Warwick: GONE WAAAAAY BACK! That's a HUGE SIX!
- Bowman replaces McNamara now. 65 needed off the last 6 overs...
- 44.4 Bowman to Warwick: OUT! What a huge wicket! Warwick is very dangerous and the new guy has him. Bowman is all smiles in

celebration with his team mates. McNamara took a smart catch at the lone slip. What a bold bit of captaincy it was to have

him in there at this stage!
- 44.5 Bowman to Hoy: Lofted over the bowler's head! Two bounces and FOUR! Good start by Hoy.
- 45.2 Comley to Hoy: he breaks out the slog sweep! FOUR! Great shot!
- 45.6 Comley to Hoy: HUGE SHOUT! Not out. Comley not pleased, but they can't get a run.
- 46.6 Bowman to Hoy: TAKE THAT! That sails out of the ground. Hoy keeps the hope alive for the Blacks.
- He's done it for them all season long and now Hancock comes on to bowl at the end Comley just wrapped. Big pressure situation...
- 47.5 Hancock to Thompson: EDGED! That flies past Burke for FOUR!

Blacks require 21 runs from 0 balls with 2 wickets in hand.

Bowman to continue. Just his second OD game and he's bowling the 49th over in a crunch situation...
48.1 Bowman to Thompson: driven well to deep cover and they get a run.
48.2 Bowman to Hoy: driven hard and deflected by the bowler. They scramble a run.
48.3 Bowman to Thompson: pulled hard but brilliant stop at midwicket! Hancock has saved 3 runs most likely.
48.4 Bowman to Hoy: driven to longoff for a single. He's frustrated that he couldn't do more there.
48.5 Bowman to Thompson: YORKER! Inside edge and they take a quick single.
48.6 Bowman to Hoy: LOFTED! But it drops in front of longoff. They just get a single. Hoy furious with himself.

Terrific over from Bowman and he's all but secured for the Colts.

49.1 Hancock to Hoy: WIDE! That's not how you want to start the 50th!
49.1 Hancock to Hoy: Flicked away! In the air but safe. They take 2.
49.2 Hancock to Hoy: pulled flat for a single to deep midwicket
49.3 Hancock to Thompson: slower ball and smacked to longon for a single.
49.4 Hancock to Hoy: driven uppishly to cover and they run a quick single.
21 needed off 2 balls...
49.5 Hancock to Thompson: he swings for 10, but misses and gets none!
49.6 Hancock to Thompson: that's gone straight up! Thomas runs around and gets under it. OUT!

C'mon Bowman, Do it for Reds and Colts everywhere. As well as that youve got Edfield cheering you guys on, as well, since our team is made of reds and colts as well.

Right, down to Nick for the final over now but we can hear a few drunk Reds in the distance already. :p

Great win boys, disciplined bowling performance in the middle. Hopefully Bowman can continue his wicket taking prowess next year for us. Comley did an awesome job. Well played, and bad luck, to the Blacks.

Lets go have Mad Monday. I'm sure a few of the Reds will be happy to shout us a drink or two!
