Well, certainly playing around the number 3 :d. Always brillant to get a century, the first for this season. Come on colts, lets do this thing.

Sensational over from Trav, blew the game wide open.

Unusual to only have 6 overs out of 80 odd. Better make up for it with the bat. :p

Brilliant over from Travis to put us back on top. Should be a manageable chase if we bat sensibly (after we get this last wicket, of course).

256 is challenging, but we've shown before that we can chase that sort of target down without trouble. Need a good start.

Lunch Day Four: Blue 227/3 (45 ov)

Code:
Blue 2nd innings (target: 256)
Camps c Towns b Thomas 0
Fuller lbw b Hancock 23
Goff c Pitt b Hancock 81
Cloete not out 118
de Silva	c Towns b Wright 21
Wilshere	not out
Total 256/4 (53.1 ovs)

FOW: 0-1 (Camps), 2-69 (Fuller), 3-200 (Goff), 4-256 (de Silva

Thomas 9-0-59-1
Wright 18-1-76-1
Hancock 9-0-51-2
Rai 14.1-1-48-0
Nayak 3-0-18-0
0.3 Thomas to Camps, OUT!, what a start for Colts! Camps plays an ugly cross-batted shot and it flies up to a diving Towns. This just got much more challenging!
0.4 Thomas to Goff, FOUR, off the mark with a boundary.
2.4 Thomas to Fuller, SIX, look at that! booming shot with no regard for the task at hand. Cuts six off the target, however, and it was miles away from the fielders
7.5 Thomas to Goff, FOUR, beautiful drive to bring him into the 20s, the opening bowling has cost the Colts a lot after that brilliant start
10.1 Thomas to Goff, FOUR, pulls in front of midwicket, a diving Malthus-Howell can not stop it, 50 up
10.6 Thomas to Fuller, no run, hits it hard in the air, it's shorter than the last one, Hancock gets under it but can only pick it up with his shoulder
12.6 Hancock to Fuller, OUT!, makes up for it there! another rather rash attempt from Fuller, leg glance gone badly wrong, umpire says it hit pad before bat, rather brave decision
13.5 Wright to Goff, FOUR, scoring account opened for the day, glided down to third man and he moves into the 40s
14.1 Hancock to Cloete, one run, off the mark without fuss
17.6 Wright to Goff, no run, he's cautious now, on 47 and would like to move on from that half-century
20.6 Rai to Cloete, one run, keeps the strike
21.1 Wright to Cloete, no ball, no run, defends to the off side
21.1 Wright to Cloete, no run, drives back to the bowler
21.2 Wright to Cloete, FOUR, shot! past the bowler and no chance to stop it, powerful shot
21.3 Wright to Cloete, no ball, no run, tapped into the off side
21.3 Wright to Cloete, two runs, glances down leg, Pitt is there and fields
21.4 Wright to Cloete, FOUR, pulls away, through midwicket, exquisite placement and four
21.5 Wright to Cloete, FOUR, really expensive over this, hooked through square leg for yet another boundary
22.5 Rai to Goff, one run, outside off and guided through the slips for a single, half-century up
23.1 Thomas to Goff, FOUR, welcome back says Goff and drives him as well
25.6 Thomas to Cloete, one run, end of a brutal over, that cost the Colts 17 and they're really running out of ideas, half-century for Cleote to boot
32.6 Rai to Cloete, no run, leg break left cautiously alone, that's a maiden over, only the second of the innings!
38.5 Rai to Goff, one run, that's the 200 up and this is looking like a breeze for Blue at the moment
39.1 Hancock to Goff, OUT!, still a chance?! Pitt holds on to a difficult catch at point, Goff departs for 81, seven wickets or 56 runs however
39.6 Hancock to de Silva, FOUR, ten have come off this over and it still looks like Blue are in control of this game
40.1 Wright to Cloete, no run, return catch dropped! Wright is furious with himself...was that the final place that went begging?
43.4 Hancock to Cloete, FOUR, pulls away for another boundary, that's his 100, off just 102 balls - incredible knock, once again Cloete comes up big when his team needs him
44.4 Wright to de Silva, no run, dropped by Burke! Well, if the chance hadn't been spilled earlier.
52.6 Wright to de Sivla, OUT!, Towns holds on but of course it's too late, scores are tied and Wright needs six more of those
53.1 Rai to Cloete, one run, swept into the leg side and that's the end of the game, players shake hands, six wicket win for Blue

Goff and I have a nice record batting together, it seems. Hopefully we can make this a telling stand.

edit: Hmm. I'll be quiet now.

Cloete is dominating at the moment, Goff anchoring well. If just one of these two go on to a big score that should seal the win.

Fantastic effort from Andrew, and a great team performance all round. With Red also losing, that brings us a game closer to the top, with the key match against Red coming up next.
