International Coach
Dave, give it a rest man.

You've been picking a fight with Towns on here for ages and to be quite honest, it's getting boring and it certainly doesn't help the forum or the CW Dev League. I don't know if it helps you inside or what but there's no need for poor insults and snide digs.

Rein it in.

Hey dude, how long until the Black v Blue match starts?
At least 9 hours.

When does the Black vs Blue showdown start?
^Same question, same answer as Vimes said...except that by my time that would have been 9:10 AM...12 hours after that...nothing...

I appreciate that Hakon has a life...

I did say "at least". Match to be simmed now. Not live, mind, due to the delays.

Cricket Web Red v Cricket Web Blue
at CW Oval

Conditions: Lots of bounce, a nearly perfect pitch, hot and sunny skies.

Reds captain Watt opts to bat first.

Cricket Web Red 1st innings:

Code:
Mørk not out 29
Mamesh c Halsey	b Fuller	39
Dauth not out 4
Total 74/1 (18 ov)

Demeza 6-2-19-0
Patrick 8-0-42-0
Collins 3-0-6-0
Fuller 0.3-0-1-1
4.2 Demeza to Mørk, full ball, ooh! he's dropped it! Return catch is floored by the bowler and Mørk taunts him as he walks back
4.3 Demeza to Mørk, short, feathered behind...and Jellett floors it. Another life for Mørk.
10.0 Reds have negotiated the early overs well here.
11.4 Patrick to Mamesh, thumped for four through covers. That's the 50 partnership.
15.3 Patrick to Mørk, and that's another drop! Mørk takes the bait outside off stump, flashes, the ball goes behind to Jellett who can't react, third life!
16.3 Fuller to Mamesh, that's the one they wanted! Full and outside the off, swings away, takes the edge to second slip Halsey who holds on easily and the Reds are one down.

Fuller 20-4-66-4
Halsey 19-3-49-3
Camps 6-1-28-0
19.3 Fuller to Mørk, short, on his body, Mørk hoiks! Massive shot from Mørk and it's gone into the stands at square leg. That'll teach him.
24.5 Collins to Mørk, driven back past the bowler, four runs and Mørk is onto fifty. Reds into triple figures as well.
28.5 Halsey to Dauth, slow, attempted flipper, Dauth sees it all the way and charges him. SIX.
30.6 Halsey to Mørk, outside off, turns away, Mørk never bothers with that, and the umpires signal lunch.
37.6 Slow grinding effort from the Reds here, but they are getting the runs up.
39.4 Demeza to Dauth, good length, swinging in, Dauth pads up, huge appeal from the Blues! Pictures suggests it's going down leg.
40.6 Fuller back on for Demeza.
41.6 Fuller to Mørk, dabbed down leg, a single to Mørk and the partnership is worth 100.
43.4 Fuller to Dauth, outside off, tries to play it through the covers, gets it all wrong and it's a simple catch for Demeza, Dauth looks furious with himself
43.5 Fuller to Mørk, good length ball outside the off stump, Mørk edges, it's flown through third man and gone down for four.
50.6 Aggressive start for Markus here.
52.1 Fuller to Markus, smashed straight, he's trying to take him out of the attack! SIX into the far stand!
54.1 Halsey to Mørk, outside off, Mørk tries the big drive to get to 100, ball's taken the edge to Collins, but he can't hold on. Another life!
55.3 Demeza to Mørk, outside off, this time the big drive pays off, one bounce to cover and he's there for a 189-ball century, his first of the season. Well batted.
57.5 Demeza to Mørk, pads up outside off stump, big appeal from Demeza, umpire gives it! Out for 106, and Stedman steps in here to try to boost his credentials again
58.1 Halsey to Markus, slogs wildly! Goff is under it...and yes. He's held on. Two wickets in three balls.
59.1 Demeza to Robbins, short, he hooks! Flies over the fielder at deep midwicket and goes away for six. Lucky escape.
59.6 And that's tea. Some nasty bowling just before the interval, and the Blues will feel they have wrested some of the initiative back after Mørk's big innings.
63.1 Halsey to Stedman, bat and pad comes together, ball flies off and goes behind, but it's dropped by Jellett again.
68.4 Halsey to Robbins, googly! Robbins doesn't spot it and it's shattered middle stump, lovely bowling from Halsey, gone for 14 and Red have lost the last three wickets for 30.
70.5 Halsey to Stedman, he's on a roll now! Flighted ball, Stedman is trapped completely, lbw for 11 and another wicket falls. Can the Red tail hold on here?
71.4 Patrick to Dobson, that's the wicket they wanted! Reds in disarray here at their own Oval - they batted so well until tea but the breakthroughs shook them and Jellett holds on to the crucial catch.
73.6 Patrick to Loganathan, slices the ball, Halsey's there but the ball slips through his fingers, can the Reds exploit this?
76.6 Fuller to Loganathan, no they can't, Fuller gets a wicket in his first over back and Loganathan is out for 6.
84.6 The Blue bowlers are getting a lot of swing with the new ball, and runs aren't coming easily. Kennett still on a duck after 30 balls.
86.6 Fuller to Borcich, Just before stumps, another breakthrough - it's Fuller's fourth, easy catch to the wicket-keeper, and Red have now lost seven men for 59.
88.3 Fuller to Watt, nicked down leg, long run for the fielder and Watt picks up three to get off the mark.
89.1 Demeza to Watt, all over! Edged to fourth slip and out for 3.
