It will be Nathan Hoy to bowl the first over of the game. He's been really sharp all tour long, but has not yet been rewarded with a big haul of wickets. Perhaps today is his day?

0.1 Hoy to Gilchrist: BEATEN! Good length and a bit of movement and Gilchrist was lucky there.

Xavier Rose will take up the attack from the other end. Much like his bowling partner, Rose has not had the success he has deserved in this series.

1.5 Rose to Katich: that's tailing back in... loud shout! Given not out by the umpire, but that was close!
1.6 Rose to Katich: full and pushed to cover - no run.
And that ends the second consecutive maiden of the innings! Incredible!

2.1 Hoy to Gilchrist: turned off the hip and he scampers a single. The first run of the match!

4.1 Hoy to Katich: too short and thumped away past the diving midwicket for FOUR!
5.4 Rose to Gilchrist: pitched up and driven past midoff. Lovely shot - FOUR!
6.1 Hoy to Gilchrist: BANG! Just a little bit of width and punished! FOUR!
8.6 Hoy to Gilchrist: down the legside and it's beaten Chaulk to go for FOUR! A wide goes to the boundary. Oh dear... Hoy is losing his way here...
9.1 Rose to Katich: full face of the bat and that races through the covers for FOUR!

The hero of yesterday, Camps is into the attack for the struggling Hoy...
10.6 Camps to Katich: played at his feet and a quick single. Good run to break up the maiden over attempt.

14.5 Camps to Katich: leading edge! DROPPED! Neil Pickup has dropped a sitter at midoff. Oh dear..
14.6 Camps to Katich: DRIVEN! DROPPED again! Unbelievable! This one was hit harder but once more straight at him, and Pickup has floored a virtual sitter! Two in two!

And as if scripted, it's Pickup who will replace Rose after a good opening spell. He has a lot to make up for...
15.4 Pickup to Gilchrist: he goes back and... HOWZAT?!? Plumb! Pickup has pulled one back. Misjudged by Gilchrist and the CW XI have broken through.
17.3 Pickup to Katich: he backs away and SMACK! Past point for FOUR! Katich not intent on letting Pickup forget those two drops.
17.5 Pickup to Katich: AGAIN! Too short and punished with the cut shot - FOUR.
18.1 Camps to Katich: CRASHED away through the covers - FOUR. Camps has a glance at Pickup. Fifty for Katich...

SM Katich 50 (67 balls), 5 fours, 0 sixes

18.2 Camps to Katich: down the legside and that's another boundary off the wide. Camps falling away too now...

Halsey replaces Camps. Double spin attack.
20.6 Halsey to Katich: missed the sweep and they've appealed for it. Turned down by umpire Bucknor.
22.5 Halsey to Ponting: clipped off his toes... he played against the spin, but he timed it beautifully - FOUR!
23.1 Pickup to Katich: DRIVEN... EDGED... TAKEN! Lovely bit of bowling there. A bit of drift and he has his man driving at a wrong 'un. Smart catch at slip.

Code:
SM Katich c Markus b Pickup	55 (80)
23.2 Pickup to Jaques: paddled around very fine... Halsey cuts it off to save a run... good fielding, but there get 3.
24.1 Halsey to Jaques: full toss... driven... brilliant stop! And a mixup here! Goff fires to the 'keeper... direct hit! He's walking! Jaques goes!

Code:
PA Jaques run out (Goff) 3 (2)
24.3 Halsey to Martyn: HOW IZ THAT?!? GONE! Martyn doesn't trouble the score. Halsey picks him up with a googly. What a turn around!

Code:
DR Martyn lbw b Halsey 0 (2)
25.1 Pickup to Ponting: long hop dispatched to the midwicket fence - FOUR.
25.2 Pickup to Ponting: late cut and they scramble a single.

25.5 Pickup to Symonds: he's bowled him!!! Australia in shambles now! That one kept low and didn't turn, and Symonds tried to play it off the back foot. 5 down!

Code:
A Symonds b Pickup 0 (6)
25.6 Pickup to Clarke: down the track and lofted over midoff... not timed perfectly and Camps pulls it back - 3 runs.

27.5 Pickup to Ponting: and the Australian captain has had enough of this - he just swatted that one over midwicket and into the gap for FOUR.
27.6 Pickup to Ponting: sweep shot... dead square... splits the fielders! FOUR!
14 runs off the over. Australia charging back!

29.6 Pickup to Clarke: legbreak... defended - no run. A maiden over from Pickup after his last over was the most expensive of the innings to date.
30.4 Halsey to Clarke: oh dear, that's loose - cracked past backward point for FOUR!
30.5 Halsey to Clarke: BANG! He just planted his foot and smashed that back over the bowler's head for FOUR! Australia regaining the momentum fast.
31.4 Pickup to Ponting: swept around very fine and that'll be.... FOUR!
Some 47 runs off the last 5 overs, including a maiden!

Hoy returns to the attack to change things up...
34.1 Hoy to Clarke: mistimed cut and CAUGHT! Simple catch by Goff at cover point. Big wicket!

Code:
MJ Clarke c Goff b Hoy 34 (30)
Marc Robbins is on to replace Pickup...
35.1 Robbins to Ponting: defended back to the bowler.
36.1 Hoy to Hogg: BRILLIANT! That's a fantastic one-handed grab by Ash Chaulk. He has really come alive in this series and Hoy has another deserved wicket. Great comeback!

Code:
GB Hogg c Chaulk b Hoy 1 (8)
36.6 Hoy to Ponting: pulled away but there's a man back, so they get a single. That's Ponting's half-century. Very good innings.

RT Ponting 50 (55 balls), 5 fours, 0 sixes

37.5 Robbins to Lee: lofted over midoff and to the boundary for FOUR!
40.6 Hoy to Ponting: yorker length and defended back to the bowler. Ponting sees off Hoy.
41.5 Robbins to Ponting: that's a towering shot! Dauth run in from longoff but it's swirling around.. and DROPPED!... no, TAKEN!!! He looked like he'd missed it there, but that's a fantastic catch and a HUGE wicket! The debutant celebrates with his Red teammate.

Code:
RT Ponting	c Dauth b Robbins	55 (72)
44.3 Camps to Lee: CRACKED over cover... FOUR!
46.2 Rose to Bracken: big swing! Over the 'keeper's head for FOUR!
46.3 Rose to Bracken: and AGAIN! But it's taken this time! Great reach by Chaulk!

Code:
NW Bracken	c Chaulk b Rose 11 (14)
46.4 Rose to Clark: CRACK! Cut away over slip and away for FOUR! Not a great ball from Rose to the number 11!
46.5 Rose to Clark: flicked to long leg and the get a run.
46.6 Rose to Lee: turned off his thigh and they run one... back for a second! Great running!
47.1 Robbins to Clark: booming drive! Thin edge... OUT! All over. Excellent bowling by Robbins at the death.

CW XI require 0 runs from 19 balls with 5 wickets in hand.
A total of 241 is required by the Cricket Web XI to follow a famous Test series draw with a famous ODI series win. It shouldn't be difficult given the conditions here at the moment, but batting under lights can present some difficulties previously unforeseen.

Ian Markus has scores of 0 and 1 in this series so far and Camps has 44 and 28. A good opening stand is needed now.

Brett Lee has the new ball and is fresh off a devastating spell of 5/33 at this ground yesterday.

0.1 Lee to Markus: driven uppishly to the left of midoff... a single. Markus is underway.
0.2 Lee to Camps: outside the offstump and left alone. A bit of swing there...
0.3 Lee to Camps: wide outside offstump and called wide.
0.3 Lee to Camps: pitched up and swinging away... left alone.
0.4 Lee to Camps: back of a length and defended back down the pitch.
0.5 Lee to Camps: NOBALLL: pitched up and driven through the covers.. they'll get two here easily.
0.5 Lee to Camps: flicked past midwicket... they're turning for two... back for a third... good running!
0.6 Lee to Markus: short and wide and cut to Symonds at backward point. No run.

3.1 Bracken to Camps: GONE! The thinnest of edges but it's enough to send Camps on his way!

Code:
LA Camps c Gilchrist b Bracken 11 (12)
3.4 Bracken to Goff: straying on the pads and clipped very fine... Lee pulls it back but they get 3 runs... Goff is away.
8.1 Lee to Goff: he looks to cut and they go up... they have him!!! Brendan Goff's miserable ODI series finishes with another unconvincing innings. The Cricket Web XI in trouble now...

Code:
BJ Goff c Gilchrist b Lee 9 (19)
What a situation for Rob Dauth to make his debut!
8.2 Lee to Dauth: full and swinging in! Dug out to the legside and Dauth gets a single. First international run!
11.2 Bracken to Dauth: bowled him!! He's lost his legstump! Not the prettiest dismissal, especially not on debut!

Code:
RJ Dauth b Bracken 8 (14)
11.3 Bracken to Butler: EDGED! It flies low and past second slip and away for FOUR! So close...
11.4 Bracken to Butler: much more confident there with a push through the covers for two runs.

14.1 Clark to Markus: DRIVEN!... straight to short extra cover - no run.
14.2 Clark to Markus: DRIVEN again! This time he finds the gap and Symonds chases. Excellent fielding to keep it to 3.
14.3 Clark to Butler: oooooooh GORGEOUS cover drive! This young man is such a talent! FOUR!
14.4 Clark to Butler: PULLED! This won't reach the boundary, but they come back for a third.
14.5 Clark to Markus: short and rising and Markus sways under it.
14.6 Clark to Markus: punched past Symonds at point! They're back for 2.

Symonds replaces Clark, who hasn't started well at all.

16.1 Symonds to Butler: chipped over the infield and they scramble 2! Great batting.
16.2 Symonds to Butler: he moves outside offstump and paddles that around! FOUR! Improvising now!
16.3 Symonds to Butler: flicked fine again! A run saved to keep it to 3 this time, though.

Spin into the attack for the first time - Brad Hogg replaces Nathan Bracken.
17.1 Hogg to Markus: punched off the back foot and it's running close... saved... and they get another 3!

Clarke replaces Symonds now for a double spin attack. Australia trying desperately to check this run rate.

20.4 Clarke to Markus: BONUS! Markus GONE! Clarke came on to slow the scoring, but he's knocked Markus over with a straight one! Big wicket.

Code:
I Markus b Clarke 33 (53)
The man for any crisis is at the crease. Marc Robbins takes guard. This team looks a lot stronger with him back.

23.2 Hogg to Robbins: oops... BEAMER! And Robbins uppercuts it for FOUR! What an extraordinary stroke!

Stuart Clark is back. 2-0-15-0 to start, but he needs to get his team a wicket now.

25.3 Clark to Robbins: driven to cover... quick single... CLOSE! And now overthrows... 2 extra runs. Sloppy work by the Aussies.
26.5 Clarke to Robbins: long hop - put away with ease. Robbins looks in really good touch out there. FOUR.
28.1 Clarke to Butler: SWEPT away! Just 1 run, but it brings up an excellent fifty for Chris Butler. Great innings under pressure.

CR Butler 50 (49 balls), 3 fours

29.3 Clark to Butler: played on! Butler can't believe it, but he's dragged that one back onto his stumps and the Australians sense that they're on top once more!
29.4 Clark to Chaulk: angled bat and that's a single down to third man. Calmly off the mark. Ponting brings third man in now.
30.6 Clarke to Chaulk: full toss and missed! Big shout! Not out says the umpire. That looked ugly though.

Ponting senses the opportunity slipping away, so he calls Brett Lee to the bowling crease, presumably for a sharp 2-over spell. Game in the balance.

36.6 Lee to Chaulk: full and swinging in! Dug out. Great ball.
38.2 Clarke to Robbins: CUT AWAY! FOUR to relieve some of the pressure. Clutch innings, this, by Marc Robbins.
39.3 Hogg to Robbins: lofted back overhead - FOUR! Great shot and fifty!

MJ Robbins 52 (58 balls), 4 fours, 0 sixes

Ponting feels the need for a more regular bowler at this stage. He tosses the ball to Symonds.

40.6 Symonds to Robbins: DRIVEN! But fielded at short cover. Excellent over, with just 1 run from it. Game truly on now!
41.1 Hogg to Chaulk: BIG SHOUT! Turned down, but that looked clearly out!
42.5 Symonds to Chaulk: picked up off the legs... into the gap!! FOUR!!
43.6 Hogg to Robbins: flat batted back down the ground! FOUR! Now the Webheads are cruising.

Lee returns in a last roll of the dice...
44.1 Lee to Chaulk: BANG!!! That's clear out of the ground! An extraordinary shot from Ash Chaulk, who's having a great series.
46.5 Clark to Robbins: driven past the bowler... they go through... that's it! The Cricket Web XI take the game by 5 wickets and a first ever series win over Australia! Super effort from Robbins and great support from Chaulk.

I was going to say "Go CW" and "Great innings Butler & Robbins" but I didn't want to jinx it...
