CW Ranks the Batsmen

My word, another success for one of my votees.

1) KS Ranjitsinhji
2) RT Ponting

Whatever one thinks of Punter as a captain, as a batsman he's top drawer. His swivel pull a thing of beauty too.

1. Everton Weekes
2. Ranji

Will want Weekes, Pollock, Walcott and Barrington next (in any order), followed by Miandad and Steve Waugh (in any order), followed by Border and Ponting (in any order), followed by Dravid, Kallis and Compton (in any order).

Won't mind if Ranji and Barry Richards sneaks in somewhere in between...Even won't mind if they claim the next two positions...

Till now, I like this ranking very much, even more than the bowlers' one which too is a very good one...

Without wishing to overly push a case for my personal favourite, what has happened to all the people who voted for Trumper in the last round? He was a close second to Sutcliffe, and comfortably ahead of everyone else, and yet has now gone backwards.
