I've considered AB to be slightly ahead of Viv as ODI goat ever since he hit the fastest ton. In many ways he is as dominant compared to his peers as Viv was.
Is he really? There's a lot of blokes who score very quickly these days in ODIs. It's a wonderful achievement, don't get me wrong, but are you really putting him ahead purely because of balls faced in one dig as a defining moment? Didn't de Villiers score that ton with SA already having a mile of runs on the board? I genuinely can't recall tbh

Im not saying just because of that knock.. around that time his batting reached a different level that he has generally stayed in since.

Even though I pick him over Viv now it is close enough that either one has a good argument imo. Even Sachin had an argument - but there is distance after the top 3.

All this is a moot point really as all of Tendulkar, Richards and AB de Villiers would be in any sane persons ATG ODI first XI.

yeah but thought it'd be nice to give the final a little longer. Will close it up soon

as I was going thru, scrolling down and counting votes Zinzan's extraordinarily incorrect count halfway through threw me off and I had to start again lmao

So it's done and I guess it's unanimous that Sobers is the second best lol.
