CW Battrick Cup, season nine

Great game, not the best result. :(

And that's the end of the match. Brackenhurst won by 5 wickets.
Tamil Eelam CC 313-2
Brackenhurst 314-5

Haha, BARDLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

What an awesome match. Extremely well played new_age, you didn't do much wrong. Browne was incredible, upping the anti when Burnip got out. Can't believe Bardle stayed in, been randomly training his batting lately and it pays off.

Cruising along here. 10 wicket victory looking likely atm.
Indeed. Hmmm. Not quite reflective of the respective skills of the side on show, but such is life. Three spinners on a seaming wicket was never gonna be good for me, but still didn't expect such a hiding.

Opening Balance Connells Estates CC
Top Order: quality superb
Middle Order: strong proficient
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: proficient quality
Spin Bowling: superb strong
Fielding: woeful woeful

Batting quality also below standard. Poor middle order returns. Should be well above proficient.

Apart from this maybe:
Hirst 10-0-81-1

Need a new opening bowler ASAP.

Top Order: respectable strong
Middle Order: respectable respectable
Lower Order: abysmal woeful
Seam Bowling: strong proficient
Spin Bowling: respectable proficient

Like the look of those ratings. Once NW improves his PFLs, they are going to start to look pretty good.

I have never, ever, been as angry as I am right now. I'd go on a Scaly rant but Nafe would expect better of me.
You're a top bloke. :)

Reckon you edged me out on the ratings. Perhaps home ground advo and Browne's captaincy swung things in my favour. Awesome game mate, could've swung either way. And as you said, when Warna's PFL gets better, he'll be immense. :)

Nah had more to do with that fact your top batsmen faced more balls then my top batsmen. Schutte knocking over your two weaker top order batsmen, probably cost us in weird way.

Loving the Hursts win. Nath, where can I get Brackenhurst scarves, banners, hats and foam hands?

Wasn't expecting Dwyer to win. Thought he was gone for all money.

Wow, ridiculous innings from Stonebridge. Thanks for the game Heath, not really sure how I managed to beat you so convincingly this time around given the ratings, but I'll take it :)

Ratings highlight my need for another seamer though.
