To the people in my group - I'm off on holiday to France on Tuesday, getting back on the 13th so I'll be away for two matches. I should be able to get internet access to challenge and accept challenges but please be patient with me! If I don't manage to make a game, I'm really sorry but I promise I'll do the best I can! And if I forfeit, it's 2 points to you and a day off, so ya can't really complain!

Out of interest (not kicking up a stink, just curious), why has my NRR gone down after me winning today?

Because I don't use the Battrick method of calculating NRR, I use the official method, which is more of a "goal average" system. As you won by 104 runs, which equates to 2.08 NRR - lower than 2.54 - your average NRR over the whole group stage went down to 2.47.

It doesn't make much difference, but pure adding up, as Battrick does, probably gives a little too much advantage to bowling first and chasing a target quickly.

Backing Manju to smash the living crap out of Grandpa CC aki Whenuapai CC. Reckon Geg will be too strong for them as well. Such a piss poor team. Easierly the worst manager on CW.

In other news, Jamee, you up for Bardle/Jeithoon Cup, for the winner of our match. Must be the like the 5th time we have meet in the cup now.
It's on like Donkey Kong.

Hence my league RR of about a billion. :p

(EDIT: 22 if we're gonna be technical. But that's still good for 10th on the promotion table.)

Ahh ok! Fair enough. I don't understand the Battrick NRR system either, so was just a bit spun out.

Pay Morkel and I $50 a piece and we'll see if we can't arrange something...

Can't arrange International Friendlies yet.

Woh! I was away for the weekend and missed this. Mabudhafasi 7 for 38, I didn't expect that. Glad I put in an extra bowler though given the result

Thanks for the game mate. Good to see the last 5 batsmen on both sides mustered about 16 between them

Good to see Fordham bought back down to size with only 99
