Haven't had to Go For It! in a while, so I'd hope that'll improve significantly when I do. Just beat the team who got relegated from Div 3 last year, so it may finally be the year I gain promotion from Div 4. Certainly, I have the team to do it, but there's some pretty closely matched teams in my division.

I'm interested to hear if anyone has a lower order better than 'Competent'. I really am turning my team into a New Zealand batting order (only with a 'Mills' at #9 and then 2 Chris Martins!!)

I deliberately got relegated from the FC division I was in as I had a long cup run last season and my player fitness was totally ****ed. As for the one day league, I've come 2nd in that division 5 seasons in a row, but there was always one team better than me, and 2nd was a fair reflection - it was just that the better team seemed to always lose in their playoff with the relegation candidate from Div 3. I just beat the team relegated from Div 3, so it may be my year for promotion, but not too sure.

Plus my team had appalling morale after getting spanked by Clapo in last year's cup. Out for revenge this year.

My team has at least 'Superb' bats all the way down to #8, with a Proficient/Proficient batsman at #9. My worst bowler is Strong/Strong, but he's probably only a season away from being Strong/Strong and Superb/Superb
