Talks have started between the selectors of Cricketweb 1st XI, and a team for the first test match will be named shortly...

(Mptzylk ill give you averages and instructions when i name the team)

I think we ought to use updated averages , so people who did well in the ODI series will have better averages and people who didnt do well, their averages will get worse...

What do you think Lord?

Something strikes me as a bit unusual. Why exactly did Lord of Darkness bowl 10.1 overs and Paid the Umpire bowl 0.5 overs? Is this an error in the game?

On a minor note...I feel cheated...9 bowlers used and I didn't even get an over....:P

Oh well, there's always the Test matches...

yeah its an error in the game. Once a bowler has bowled 10 he cannot come back, you just get a message telling you to put someone else on.. Just a glitch in the scoring system

When the match is 5 days long, there's usually some work for the spinners to do. Don't worry, the Tests are yet to come.

yea lang i think that will be good thing to do , lower and higher averages to go on with a Bit of realism in the thing..

AND the next time i see u on msn and if u have an average thing in handy , and i can have a look at the same moment we can discuss on the 18 strong squad ?

would this mean for tests and o.d.is as well

what about avgs for tests so we have to resubmit that , or should we make it up based on ppls skill in od and compared to the other international players?

The averages in Syedur Rahman will have to be adjusted a bit for realism in SR, as it has no feature for it. As such, an average of 50 would be aound 43-45, basically you would chop 5 from the average.

Aside from that, the game is almost totally realistic.

I think that it would not be fair to use the OD averages. It may be most economical to

make it up based on ppls skill in od and compared to the other international players?

otherwise it'll take forever to get everything submitted.

After my stalwart performance today, and a hundred that I previously had against Bangladesh, I think I can make the final XI :P

Ive assessed all the games thoroughly and these 18 came the closest to deserving the spots in the probable 18 of mine ...

im sure that after discussion with lang i think most of these ppl named here will be in it , ( maybe all )
