Wow I'm very impressed! I've listened to the first one, and its superb. Very interesting comments, and the quality is great.

I'll come back and make more comments when I've listened to them all, but for now, well done Silentstriker, Steds, Neil and Goughy.

Oh and by the way, Manan you don't sound like you have no life, yet you do. Odd :p

LOL, I sound like I have nasal congestion though. Might not be able to go shooting tomorrow, especially if India loses. :@

LOL @ Silentstriker. Two voices combineddddddd.

And I laughed when I heard Goughy. Give the man his own show.

Would love to take part in one of these, need a microphone and some time. I sing, so my voice is obviously made for radio. :p

SS - gun host IMO. Less umming and erring, which is totally excusable for the first show, and some confidence and volume - I`d do you.

CW Round Table my backside. Three English and a crazy jumping man.
Despite how he sounds, Bennett claims he's a Scot rather than an Englishman.

Well I've listened to all questions, excellent stuff.

Goughy/Kev was superb. I knew he knew his cricket, but he was outstanding. He spoke a lot of sense whilst at the same time talking about some innovative aspects and ideas that I didn't necessarily think of. Whilst I thought all 4 guys were excellent, he'd have to be the highlight. His points regarding English fast bowlers and the Australian domestic system and structures were awesome, and I wholeheartedly agree with them. Am I the only one that thinks he talked like and sounded a bit like Ian Botham when he's putting over his point of view in the commentary box? Yes,I am the only one? Well okay then :p But still, top stuff Kev.

Neil too was great, and there were some funny little tidbits going on too. Screensaver was hilarous, as to the phone call from his mum, but I think his line about 13 year olds being taller than him was the best, sheerly due to the timing of it. But regarding the serious talk, he was great too.

Sean, well lol @ that fridge bit. Had everyone laughing, including Manan (what the hell kind of laugh is that? :p). I think he made a good point which was sort of ignore regarding Australia's future. Yes the question surrounded how Australia would cope regarding Warne and McGrath's departure, but his mentioning of how a lot will depend on how frequently and sudden their other experienced players leave the game was important. If they go in a burst, I think it will have an effect both with bowling and batting, even if just for a little time, but that's another story.

Manan handled it brilliantly but I don't want to praise him too much, it'll increase his already huge ego ;) But seriously good stuff man, I felt you were a lot like Sanjay but less of a douche bag :p I am a bit upset at you because I said I'd like to be involved but wouldn't be able to do it in late November because I'd be in Miami, so then you said nah I can't because you want to do it then. Well from the sounds of it, you did it just after Christmas! You bastard  :p

In terms of advice/suggestions, I reckon you should get the host involved in discussion a bit more. Not in the way of Sanjay as to lead the guests in a way of answering a question in his manipulative way, but rather him say his POV either first or last. I mean we have 4 guys from CW talking cricket, why not have all 4 give their opinion, its not often we get to have the opportunity to listen to our fellow posters, may as well hear from them all. I know its odd having me actually WANT SilentStriker's opinion, but I promise this is the last time. :p

On the whole, great stuff, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Much, much better than I expected. Goughy > most commentators out there. Am I the only one who thinks SS sounds and talks like Sanjay Manjrekar?

Anyway, I'm glad I didn't take part in this, I would've been thoroughly pwned

Haha he totally does, as in not in his voice but the way he lead the show and stated his contentions.

Also just a question, were all the questions impromptu, or were you guys given the questions before the show, and had some idea as to what you guys were going to say?

just heard the bangladesh section.....when i saw it .....i was like what?!? but then i hard it and i agree with alot of what neil's saying and somewith kevs....couldn't really hear seans.....

twenty20 issue:agree with kev

good job....
suggestion: i would say for the next one(which there should be one) there should be a guest(everytime) who will represent the region being talked about which already isn't being repped....there's 3 englishmen, one american(am guessing on ss)....so the guest would be bangladeshi or aussie if its talking about bangladesh or australia....along with the main participants=kev, manan, sean, neil.....

edit:kev you should be a commentator....you should like commentate atleast in ea cricket or brian lara or better yet for real games....

Impromptu. My mistake was since it was decided five mins prior I had to come up with two new questions (the other two were decided before, though no one prepared).

Thats why I had a bit of 'ummm' going on...since I was making it up on the fly, but next time I'll have that removed and it ought to be much smoother.

Thanks for all the kind words.

A few points from me

- I would vote for Steds as the best voice. I love the Lancastrian brogue and Fred Dibnah has my all time favourite voice.

- The whole thing was impromptu, organised 5 mins before we started. None of us had any prior knowledge of the questions.

- I lost my way a bit with the Bangladesh question as I wasnt expecting to go 1st again and had to rapidly pull my thoughts together. If anyone wants what I was trying to say explained, drop me an email :) Its different to posting as there is no edit button.

- I enjoyed it and willing to do it again but wouldnt mind if we could have a bit of time to prepare (though I not against just doing it on the spur of the moment with no planning again)

SS and the rest of the team. If you will have this in 3 weeks, when I'm back in US, I would be more than happy to be a part of this

Me too. Perhaps you should stick to the idea someone mentioned of having Aussies together, Brits together and people in the US together because of time issues.
Of course, SS is on 24/7 so he can accomodate. ;)

Anyone good at sound editing? Could use some help, if you have some spare moment.
It's part of what I'm doing in my university course and one of my passions in life, so yes. If you need a hand, I can help you out in future.

Just listening to the first part now, Goughy is brilliant. Someone send these tapes to Sky and get him out of Bulgaria.
