I don,t think I would disagree too much with that ten Marcuss. The number 10 spot did surprise though. There must be a lot of Kiwis participating in this

Who would you have had ahead of Paddles, mate? I can certainly understand Worrell, Headley but would argue that Hadlee would be very comparable with Lillee and ahead of Benaud or Gavaskar. Miller would certainly be a good shout though.

That's unfair IMO. Hadlee will find aplace in my top 5 cricketers of last century. There is no other crticketer who lifted an average side to such heights so single handedly like Hadlee did.

Except for Keith Miller, all other 9 I voted for made it to the hall of fame :)

Been just after 3 months so time to get this back up for induction number 2..

  • So long as they've been retired from the playing side of the game for 5 years, they're elligible.
  • Each member can nominate up to 25 players
  • The top 25 most nominated players will be up for induction to the CW HoF
  • Each member will then vote for 10 of the 25 which they want to be inducted into the CW HoF
  • All players who receive a vote from 50% of voters will be inducted into the Hall of Fame

Induction #1

8th November 2011 - 15th March 2011 = Voting stage 2.
