It's because of the WC really, people will always rate what gets stuck in their heads highly.I think Viv is getting overrated as a fielder. I watched a few clips of his fielding before voting, and while he was good, he's not in same league as Gibbs. Gibbs was exceptional, almost as good as Jonty.
If you spent a minute to read how I go about generating fielding statistics you wouldn't make an ignorant statement like "you can't just search drop in commentary".And yet you still have about 5,000 posts full of it in this place.
Oh I've read it, if you spent a minute to develop some objectivity it may just come to you how people can still consider your logic pretty thick. Mind you given your posting history, it was being pretty thick in itself to actually read it. Oh well though, they will just have to go in as some more wasted minutes of life I will never get back.If you spent a minute to read how I go about generating fielding statistics you wouldn't make an ignorant statement like "you can't just search drop in commentary".
Thanks for giving detailed reasons why you think this approach doesn't make sense.Oh I've read it, if you spent a minute to develop some objectivity it may just come to you how people can still consider your logic pretty thick. Screw Gibbs.. bottled it in the world Cup when it most mattered. Viv did the exact opposite with his 3 runouts. And yet another thread derailed by a Cricrate debate...

Not really sure how to do this from here. How do you make a call. Anyway:ABDV, Richards and Mark Waugh go through.
Pre-Quarterfinal 7 (of 8)
Rank the players in order of preference (5-3-1 points system, top ranked player makes the Quarterfinals)
