Loved him. Very different sort of cricketer, Chanderpaul-esque batting, quick darty left-arm spin. Unfortunately his stats are garbageYou actually beat me to this post
4 tbhShouldn't Flintoff be batting 5 but yeah, him.
Next- Select another bowler capable of bowling a full quota of ten overs (may be a bowler or an all-rounder)
Not sure where in my post it indicates the player we're currently voting for couldn't bat at #5, if that's what you mean?Shouldn't Flintoff be batting 5 but yeah, him.
Sorry for leaking out the question paper but it will definitely be Stokes at 5 and Buttler at 6, so Flintoff will bat at 7 or 8 depending on who the other person is.He'll be the 4th frontline bowler so it's going to be an interesting balance, isn't it?
Despite being superb in this tournament I can't see a place for Stokes. With a keeper at 6 and Root's spin at 3, they'd be better of with a specialist batsman at 5. If you want a few overs pick Collingwood at 5.Sorry for leaking out the question paper but it will definitely be Stokes at 5 and Buttler at 6, so Flintoff will bat at 7 or 8 depending on who the other person is.
Specialist bat (or Collingwood) at 5, Flintoff 6, Buttler 7But he's wasted down the order as he used to bat in the middle.
Well he usually bowled 1st or 2nd change anyway, so it doesn't matter too much. He'll be the 4th frontline bowler so it's going to be an interesting balance, isn't it?
This is why I named him for no. 4. If only everyone else here had my foresight. If Flintoff doesn’t bat top 5 then he doesn’t get in the team IMO.
Why though - he is like among the best ever English ODI bowlers. If Flintoff doesn’t bat top 5 then he doesn’t get in the team IMO.
He's got a better bowling average, SR and econ than Gough and Willis (apart from Willis having a slightly better ER).If Flintoff doesn’t bat top 5 then he doesn’t get in the team IMO.
gets in on bowling alone tbhIf Flintoff doesn’t bat top 5 then he doesn’t get in the team IMO.
