Within 2-3 months, Firefox has got 7.9% share of the year.James said:and for those of you interested here's CW's browser stats.
MS Internet Explorer 83.9 %
Firefox 7.9 %

Unknown 2.2 %

I always thought Mozilla made Firefox and Netscape were a seperate entity... Maybe some techno could comfirm which wayJames said:Doesn't Netscape = Mozilla and Mozilla = Netscape? Same company isn't it?
Let's just wait for Sudeep, aka the browser king to show his face LangveldtLangeveldt said:I always thought Mozilla made Firefox and Netscape were a seperate entity... Maybe some techno could comfirm which way![]()
Where is Avant Browser in the list?By far I think Avant Browser is the best, even better than Firefox I believe, having used both...but one thing's for certain IE,is out of picture for me...Interestingly today's Newspaper states MS is bringing up new and improved IE 7...I never believe them but lets see...James said:and for those of you interested here's CW's browser stats.

No sign of Avant in any of our stats Nikhil. Perhaps its within the Unknown listing.nikhil1772 said:Where is Avant Browser in the list?By far I think Avant Browser is the best, even better than Firefox I believe, having used both...but one thing's for certain IE,is out of picture for me...Interestingly today's Newspaper states MS is bringing up new and improved IE 7...I never believe them but lets see...
Oh by the way excellent new layout of CW...though I voted it was 'Very Good'Just because of a little bit of old news there but after reading the posts by James here I wish I could go back and vote for Excellent...
Oh ok - never heard of the browser myself. So many popping up!Slow Love™ said:Avant Browser identifies as IE, because it's just an overlay, rather than a browser on it's own.
That's exactly what I thoughtSlow Love™ said:Mozilla were the genesis of Netscape, but these days, Netscape is owned by AOL. Mozilla's gone on designing it's own suites and Firefox, but has little to do with Netscape anymore, although Netscape still uses the open-source mozilla code as a backbone.
I considered basing the new design on 1024*768 but a lot of our users still use 800*600 as you can see from our resoultion stats below. Due to that it remained at 800*600.Slow Love™ said:The new site design looks great to me, James - have you guys considered widening the resolution though? Either way, it's a big improvement on the old layout, which was a little wonky for me at times (Firefox user here).
Fixed - thanksSlow Love™ said:Only criticism I have is related to the vbulletin upgrade at the forums - the "reply with quote" button seems to be missing.![]()

If people want to give you their @cricketmail email addresses they can feel free but I won't be giving them out.Dydl said:I want to add people to my address book. I only posted again because I couldn't edit as I wasn't allowed. Adding people is fun.
