I just got an email from the guys and they reckon I have been cheating ?? How the **** can I cheat in this game ? Its not possible, unless the system lets you, pick a team while exceeding the limit. Its not my ****en fault and unless they reinstate my team I wont bother coming back here again.

There were 10 teams in the Test competition and 12 teams in the VB Series competition who obviously found a way to get past the team budget.

You were one of them, if you didn't do it on purpose fine, but you should have notified us that the team budget wasn't going down as you picked your team. To maintain the fairness to everyone, we have no choice but to remove your team from this competition.

I spent a few hours yesterday putting more validation in and I now believe it is impossible to cheat, but even if you do cheat, we will find out as we have in this case!

mate I have no intention of cheating. Its a game for christs sake. Its not like we are playing for sheepstations.

Afraid not, you'll need to wait until after the end of the second test.

Mate its not a bug. You go and pick a team. If you have 4pts left try and pick someone with 11 and see what happens. It doesnt let you pick that player obviously. Mate I wont even bother playing the fantasy cricket in here again. Not worth the hassle especially if the administrators are going to point the finger hopefully taking the blame away from the inadequate system already in place.

Yes it is a bug obviously, but what I find hard to understand is that only 10 out of roughly 1100 people had this problem, so I would expect that something within your browser affected the validation that we didn't test for. You obviously knew you were exceeding the limit which is hardly fair to the other managers involved like Marc who put his team in within the competition budget and played to the clearly defined rules.

If you expect to find a 100% perfect application of this size on its first release you'll struggle to find one. I think we did pretty well to have this as our only problem, and after all it has only affected 10 people. This is now totally fixed, and won't happen again in future.

But it obviously allowed you to pick that player, so why didn't you notify anyone about it?
