Cricket team draft

Yeh think that is fair enough. That means I get Gilchrist and we are up to the next pick after me.
I knew I had no chance of getting Gilchrist, I think it's going to be very interesting to see which 14 wicket keepers get picked in this, also the 28 opening bats..

Yeh, I know there are better players than Gilchrist but having the best possible keeper/batsman was key for mine.

Seeing as it is the first round, if luffy can come in and pick in time then he can just permanently slide down into that position for the rest of the draft. However, after this round I agree that 24 hours from the previous pick is a fair enough guideline for someone to be skipped.

I reckon is someone misses their pick for any round they should be able to choose as soon as they come online and return and still pick in their normal position for the following rounds.

I think it's unfair, because some days I cannot be on.

Ya know, going out, school with things to do at night, cricket training, parties etc. I reckon you should have unlimited time, but try to do it as quickly as possible.
The cricket draft is far more important than cricket training and parties, priorities mate.

Seriously though, 24 hours is sufficient IMO, otherwise the game will just stall and we'll still be picking players by the time Easter comes around.

Yeah, we should do that. So say I come on and it's been 24 hours between the last pick, and someone else already went, I can pop on and go out of turn there and get my pick done.

Sound fair people?

Yep completely fair. I bet the day I don't go online is the day that everyone else decides to be online at the same time.

For me :)
Prefer the bowling all rounders over the batting ones myself :)

Isn't it uncanny how the all rounders seem to come in pairs? Sobers and one of the modern day players (thread rules prohibit me from naming him) have such similar stats. So too with Miller and Imran, although I consider Miller a true all rounder and Imran a two-phase player. There's another 80's pair that have similar numbers.

As a rule, I probably do prefer bowling all rounders more, but in the end of the day, you want the bowling allrounders to score more runs and the batting all rounders to take more wickets.
