Cricket stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread

I feel like he probably belongs in a hospital rather than a prison but yeah, he's clearly properly dangerous at this point.
He's been arrested six times in four years, been convicted once and has breached bail conditions on multiple occasions. Man is a menace and he needs to be away from women asap

Whatever it takes!!!
Its heartbreaking to see a player who was a bit of a favorite to watch, plunge such depths. I hope he gets the help needed to sort himself out and not be a threat to anyone in the society.

Are you implying that he has been harassing multiple women?

All his arrests are related to DV, stalking or breaching an AVO (or bail). He's clearly a danger to at least some women in his life and can't be trusted to keep away from them despite explicit court orders hence why he keeps getting arrested. Not to put too fine a point on it but a lot of these kinds of situations end up with a dead woman by the end of it.

Oh my mistake one of his arrests was also for assaulting police. So just a fine specimen all around.

And I know that sounds callous but his specific behaviour is recidivist and dangerous. It’s no secret he’s bipolar, but a lot of people are bipolar and they aren’t violent towards their partners or to women in general. It’s a horrible demise to watch but as Spark said, he’s going to kill someone if he isn’t put away.

Also, courts hate violent avo breaches. Like forget bail, and if it’s proven you’re in gaol for a good stretch

International Coach
Was chatting with my old man and had no idea his old man became mates with Sid Hird. What an interesting career, playing for NSW, Lancashire (10 years in the Lancs league), Eastern Province and Border.

Moving to SA after the war to coach but played some Currie Cup.

His story in this Currie Cup game is still told where he asked the Umpires/Border if they can use the ball from the 3rd innings of EP and used tough times after the war as an excuse and helped bowl out Border for 34 when they were chasing 42 using spin. Made news in Australia too.

PS that is the Kirsten's father's FC debut
