I think his style of bowling would have worked in SC conditions. Just dropping the ball on him wasn't fair tbh. His performance against India was enough to keep him in the loop for a while.

More like they chose her because she's a woman to show that woman aren't discriminated against. I have to say she's a better keeper than all but Ben Foakes out of those who've played for England recently.

That's a bit of an assumption. No reason they couldn't have hired her because she was the best person for the job.
