Brett Lee and Mike Hussey leave Channel Nine?s cricket coverage

Interesting. On the one hand, I'm glad that they're trying to add an international presence in non-England or New Zealand matches. On the other hand, I actually didn't mind Lee or Hussey. Clarke was decent when doing stints for 9 back in 2014, clearly knows a shitload about the game and doesn't seem like the boys club type (although his relationship with Shane Warne....), but it remains to be seen how he'll fare full-time.

There should be a law against autobiographies being titled My Story. Be more imaginative ffs.

Do I pay the extra $150 on my SCG membership to join the SCG XI? Apparently they do tours and ****, but with these sorts of things the good matches and tours are usually the preserve of longstanding members and/ or former FC players. Kat captains apparently. Like it would be a buzz but there'll be 400 members and I'd only disgrace myself if I played in that company, as cool as it would be to run some **** with multiple test tons out.

Plus, access to the nets would be handy for Burgeinho. Am in two minds tbh.

how old are you and do you actually still rate yourself as a talented capable cricketer? if yes, go for it

Sadly I reject the premise of your question because I was never talented nor capable. I'd like to have a run around assuming you get a bit of a go. Turning 47 next week, so my already limited powers have well and truly dissipated.

Its only $150 and you are presumably a successful lawyer in Sydney. So the question is, how stingy are you?

It's $150 on top of the membership tbf. It's not the dough as much as it is whether it'll be at all worthwhile

$150 is probably the average price of when you take Jono out for a steak. With that in mind, spend the $150 on the membership and you don't have to go out for a steak with Jono - sounds like a win-win to me.

Yeah but we all know he'll worm his way into another free feed anyway. Scab he is.
