Cricket stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread

Probably the scorers at that game weren't too sure about that. Or maybe there was one scorer that day, because in the rules, it says that there should always be two scorers and they should always correspond

I see that it was played in Dhaka.
It's hard to criticise the scorers, they have do a lot of things at once. Have to make sure they go to the right ground and get into the right scoreboard then they have to ensure all their pencils are kept sharp and in a neat line at all times. They don't just get marked on getting the score right.

Just want to confirm this:

If a batsman comes in at #11, and is on strike. He faces his first ball, the umpire calls
no ball... He hits it to cow corner. The call is 'two'. Whilst he turns around to start the 2nd run, he notices the fielder already picked up the ball. His partner (let's call him #10) is already half-way down the pitch coming at him. #11 stands his ground at the non-striker's end. The throw comes in at the striker's end. The keeper whips off the bails. #10 is out.

What is #11's strike rate?
now, if it was called a wide, the wicketkeeper missed it, and there is no backstop...

Anyone know exactly why some grounds in England, such as Durham, rope off their boundaries in such an odd way? By that I mean, rather than creating a circular playing field, we end up with sharp corners all along the boundary.
