How come so many people are voting Clarke as best emerging ODI player?

Look at his record, compare it to Hamish Marshall's, and you will see Marshall has the better stats. And not only that, Marshall doesn't have Clarke's luxury of having a not out every couple of games and yet Marshall has retained a ODI average of 46.

harmison played his 9th test on 31/07/2003 aganist SAF at Lord's
so he is no way going to be considerd for the emerging players award
every one who has voted for him should can vote for some one else
