not yet against australia... but we played against Surrey u17 second XI... Israel, Germany, Gibraltar, Denmrk, FRance, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, Austria, Hellas and Belgium.....

Lol. The 2nd Surrey U17 XI. Oh well, it's definitely good to hear that people who probably don't get as much exposure as Australians are still loving the game!

How did you first get into cricket? (and how did you do against Surrey?)

Sorry about this being off-topic. I am trying to get an idea of how Italy will be like to manage on this great new game..

I got into cricket cos my Dad (of Sri Lankan heritage) togheter with the President of F.Cr.I (Italy cricket federation) Mr. Gambino started cricket in Italy... Of course my dad was the captain of the first Italian national team (back in 1980)... So i HAD to start playing cricket... However now Italy has improved a lot... We have Serie A, Serie B, Coppa Italia (A cup were only Italian born players can play) Under 19, Under 17, Under 15 and Under 13...

We played against Surrey because Andy Iga who is Surrey's under 17 coach/manager/selector (one of these 3) played for us as a overseas player...

PLayed a 40 over game... We batted first... Todd McCann (played as a batsman/wk for sussex under13) and i opened... We scored both 20 odd... Good start... but ended in 30 overs for something like 80/10... They scored there runs in 20 overs... losing 3 wickets... (2 run outs)

That was the reason it was supposed to be released on 1st April in the first place I believe - bandwidth renewed every month.,
