I've investigating what on earth's actually happening with F's team and it turns out he's got a couple of players missing. I'll update in a sec.

Edit: And changed. The last 3 players from the draft - Prince, Jaques and Smith, now have their points for the season added. GF and Woodster get a few extra points but it doesn't change the standings.

Plenty of points on offer despite the rain thanks to the Lions match. Big week for GIMH thanks to Lumb and Taylor, but VT still well in the lead thanks to Compton and RHB. grecian still well ahead of the chasing pack from Brooks' points.

A poor week for fredfertang, who loses the points he shouldn't have previously got from an error in the table, cancelling out the gains he made from Root's century. (It'll be correct before long, I promise :p)

Not at all. What's been really good for you is that even the players who aren't doing that well like Hildreth, Allenby, Ali and Henderson have still picked up 10-20 points each along the way. Most teams have a few players getting more or less sod all, so that puts you 40 points up before we even get to the players who are doing well (Read and Trego have earned plenty, as well as Brooks.)

Great week for BoyBrumby and GIMH. Furball starting to catch up thanks to Jacques and Prince, but still behind as Bairstow's debut earns fredfertang a boost. weeman27bob slips down a spot as his trump card Richardson sits out with injury.

Had quite a lot of players not playing this week.

Nice to see Phil Hughes is finally joining up with Worcestershire.

Meaker gets 8 wickets, Woakes returns and does well. Everyone else does **** all!

Btw, Howe, you seem to have to many players counted as being part of Weeman's team (13 by my count). Borthwick for instance is on my team.

Ah yes. Di Venuto, who is grecian's, was the other wrongly assigned to black. Just a colouring error though, the points are correct.

Saw that, but didn't want to point it out in case it meant I was getting more points than I should have been...

Not much change, but Trego and Henderson's performances get grecian within touching distance of the top. Kent thrashing Leics and Brumby's Durham players all finally getting on the park means he snags a few places.

Jake - How about, as long as we stick to the same criteria, allowing a couple or three changes at some point - like when they have the big break for the hit and giggle, as I clearly made a couple of distinctly uninspired selections (Tom Smith and Chesney Hughes the two most conspicuous) - should be able to get that sort of a mini draft done in a week or so

But its an excellent idea, although its brought back memories of last time I did something like this - ****ing grecian won that too

Yes, good idea. People needn't be punished all season for duff selections in April, plus it'll keep the comp from going stale during silly season. So:

Everyone selects 1 more player (who hasn't been drafted) from their assigned counties. Pick him before 10th June, but he won't start earning points until the second half of the season. You can make this selection now.

Starting from Sunday 10th June, there will be an additional two draft rounds to allow people a squad of 14.

Once that's completed, the rest of the CC hiatus will be a mid-season trading window between participants. People are free to change more than 1 player for someone they want, but they must retain at least a full XI.

The closing date for trading will be Sunday 8th July. You must then post your XI to play for you for the rest of the season.
