Consecutive Year of Birth Test Draft:

I think I can pretty much complete my team @Zinzan - I'm taking Steve Rixon (1954). For my remaining two slots I'm picking from 1958 and 1959, two years that no one else can pick from. All good?

Great team Himmanv!!! The middle order is great and the pace attack is top notch, but would had liked a spinner as well (can guess many options weren't available in those slot)

Agree with Capt L, this is a strong XI but feel you might pay for the risk of not having the balance & option of a top spinner in the final vote off.

Whatever it takes!!!
My final team

1. Mark Taylor (vc)
2. Justin Langer
3. Darryl Cullinan
4. Dean Jones
5. Steve Waugh (c)
6. Carl Hooper
7. Rashid Latif (wk)
8. Shane Warne
9. Waqar Younis
10. Curtly Ambrose
11. Courtney Walsh
I will swap Jones and Cullinan around. No lefties from 3-9 is also a bit of a drawback but you have the second spinner covered and the 4th seamer which is good. 3 new ball bowlers none of whom liked bowling first change is a bit of a dampener too but I guess Walsh can always take over at Ambrose's end. Overall, very good side. But Taylor is a better captain than Steve Waugh for mine.

I thought a lot about captaincy between Waugh and Taylor but went for Waugh as he was more successful. But yes, let me change it to Taylor who started the success story.
