Really? What are they complaining about? It has all been pretty inoffensive from what I can remember. Certainly better than the complete **** you get from Channel 9.

I was genuinely interested when I first heard Bracken was on the commentary team. On air, apart from one amusing attempt at eating goat's head soup with Michael Holding next to him, he was terrible. Every time his co-commentators made statements or told stories, he seemed inexplicably disagree for no apparent reason. Frustrating to listen to.

Yeah, as I said, a long way from being a fan, but he does a least express an opinion, which is a step up from Nicholas Verity, whose MO is endless prevarication.

From what i heard of Bracken. He kept talking that crap about "Australia executing their plans" which you hear from the media trained players.

He's also too close to the current players and afraid to criticise.

That commentary team doing the WI v Aus tour is awful. Geoff Lawson has always been terrible - on radio or TV. Makes Channel 9 look good. And too much silence. I know pictures tell more than half the story, but you're paid to talk!

Not sure about that one, my understanding is that there aren't many Christmas cards between Bracken and past teammates, or anyone in Aussie cricket for that matter.

What's happened to Tony Cozier's commentary? He was one of my favourites back in the day but he was pretty dismal in the WI/AUS series, lacking any sort of excitement. Robin Jackman is also very underrated as a commentator, always enjoy listening to him. The Sky team are excellent, particularly Hussain and Atherton, but Botham is awful.

That's what happens when you only pick fast bowlers for the commentary team.

But saying anything makes channel 9 look good, hang your head in shame.
