Took the Dasa route tbh.
Depends - it won't stop the voting, but it will point-out what needs to be pointed-out.id also argue that the above post is largely pointless
Ah.
he is arguably the greatest one day batsman of all time...Having never seen Sir Vivian Richards bat, nor the attacks who he faced, I will not vote for him, but rest assured, I am aware he is by far the most popular candidate.
cant argue with that. still cant think of a more exciting batsman than the great sir viv.he is arguably the greatest one day batsman of all time...
good one rich...I still think he was nothing more than the best player of the first ODI era, and should not be selected in eclectic XIs of anything but 70s\80s teams.
I've always said ODI cricket should be divided up into 2 eras... 70s\80s and 90s\2000s. The game changed around about 1990, vastly, far more than it's ever changed gradually.good one rich...
that's quite interesting rich, but viv's batting transcends eras, he was that great..I've always said ODI cricket should be divided up into 2 eras... 70s\80s and 90s\2000s. The game changed around about 1990, vastly, far more than it's ever changed gradually.
Hence, I always prefer picking teams for each era rather than one that blurs the two together.
