On my infrequent recent visit to cricketweb.net, I spotted this news item.

Now, I like the pokies as much as anyone on CW (probably moreso in fact), but this item seemed like an incredibly odd fit for CW. It feels like content that may have been generated for any old cricket audience, rather than just Cricket Web specifically.

If this is a sponsored item, I equally have no great issues, but it should be labeled as such IMO. I do note the intro includes a hyperlink to casinos.com, which gets my suspicious-o-meter starting to flicker.

If it was just contributed for free, and subsequently was chosen to run by CW editorial, maybe it's time to review those policies.
