He has been a very effective T20 hitter for 2 or 3 years now, particularly in the CPL. He can actually hit it huge, some of his shots are enormous. It's interesting because he has been an awful ODI batsman for a long time with a really slow strike rate but he is an awesome hitter.

It's clearly time for him to return to the test and ODI lineup though, we can't afford to let talent like that go when our batting is so weak. They should do whatever it takes to get him back in the fray.
