I don't think I've ever seen anyone make the 'Batting higher means a batsman will score more runs' argument before. Atleast not for Test cricket, it's a somewhat valid argument in ODIs and T20s.
Its a valid argument in tests if your tail ain’t scoring

Ha, no argument.

I guess it’s a balancing act with wanting him to rest between innings and maximising him. Should have been at six all series in Stokes absence though
