Three bowlers, all spinners, share that record with 17: Colin Blythe for Kent v Northamptonshire at Northamton in 1911, Hedley Verity for Yorkshire v Essex at Leyton in 1933, and Tom (T.W.J.) Goddard for Gloucestershire v Kent at Bristol in 1939.

Hmm.. I'll make it pretty easy as I'm not too desperate to think right now.

How many batsmen have scored two hundreds on Test debut? Name all that have.

Both incorrect :ph34r:

And I don't really see the point in deleting answers just because they're wrong.

Koch_cha is correct.

RTQ = Read The Question.

When I was working with Year 5 kids (9-10 years old) over Easter, we emphasised reading the question three times before answering it.

It's a useful tip.

MCC play about 400 games a season. On any given Wednesday or Thursday during term time, there are likely to be 3 or 4 MCC sides playing against schools in one-day matches. They are not first-class games.

Cheers,

Mike
I meant the ones straight after the war against Eton and Harrow and the Oxbridge Universities, not the ones against all the oiks at Neil's university
