Uh? I've not once said Steyn was incapable of succeeding in either England or Australia. I've simply said he won't be one of the best bowlers the game has ever seen, merely a very good one. Something that'll only come to pass over the next 10 years or so.
Who cares about ODIs? They are becoming extinct day by day and in a few years time there will only be T20s and Tests. Not a bad thing at all. Why? Because he had a few good ODIs in Australia? Having never had so much as a good ODI before.
Probably because of 18 wicket tally during the test series. Why? Because he had a few good ODIs in Australia? Having never had so much as a good ODI before.

Can't remember the date of that post, but wasn't it at the very least during, even if not, the ODI series?Probably because of 18 wicket tally during the test series.
He did the former and not the latter. Hayden's retirement was fairly irrelevant to Steyn. But nonetheless, 1 game proves little to nothing, doesn't it? Especially as no-one ever said he was incapable of doing it.Didnt Steyn got a 10 fer in 2nd test and forced early retirement of Hayden.

I don't see South Africa beating us - nor Steyn causing us much trouble. I get the feeling if any bowler will be the key, it will be Morne Morkel.
No doubt the Saffers will talk themselves up something chronic in the lead up to the series, though.
DWTA. Harmless banter really. If there's one thing I hate on this forum, it's someone bringing up a predictive post of another's and mocking it when it ends up being wrong. The fact that someone actually put down their thoughts puts them well above those who kept quiet and are now saying they knew it all along. So unless you've never been wrong about anything ever in your life, reckon you should kept thy trap firmly shut.
Nah strongly disagree. Happens so much on here and it's obvious trolling.DWTA. Harmless banter really.
Not really. It is annoying and iritating to pretty much everyone involved and makes the person making the criticism look childish and petulant. By all means carry on doing it, but don't come crying when people get pissed off at you for doing it.DWTA. Harmless banter really.
DWTA. Pointing out that a person erred is not exactly trolling. That might help in informed judgements by the person in future atleast.Nah strongly disagree. Happens so much on here and it's obvious trolling.

I'm fairly sure most posters don't need your comments to help them make predictions in the future TSTL.DWTA. Please see above post.
With a valid reason behind them. Assume a poster who was carping around every 10 posts that Steyn was ****, he's no good, we'll see after SA series etc. And nobody talks anything then. Once the series is over, he is gently reminded that he was wrong. When the reminder happens everywhere the person posts, then it becomes trolling. These posts are brought up looking for a reaction from the original poster. It's trolling in it's purest form.
