So you should have lots of NO''s, espically if your as good as you say you are. I guy I have known for quite a few years, whom is a year or two younger than you bats in a similar position. He plays second grade, and last seaosn averaged just a touch under 70. So if your a talented batsman batting in the middle/lower order you should have one of the highest averages in your team. But it seems your an average player, making excuses about why you have a ho hum average.cricket player said:The reason my batting average is at 27 is because I ****ing bat at number 6and because I play with people who are older then me.in 3 months or so I will playing for usa under 19,
I am not saying I am really talented, but it is wrong to say that my average doesnt count because i played cricket in usa,as what blaze was suggesting in his post.
Such as loser Blaze
Mr Mxyzptlk said:You're suggesting Pakistan is a better allround team than New Zealand?
Cricket Player said:India, pakistan, sri lanka will hands down are much better cricketing nations then New zealand so in this I assume I am a good player because I played cricket in pakistan who has a better national them then new zealand?
just let me ask you one question,Blaze said:Batting at No 6 is arguably the easiest place to bat..
What I am saying is that you cannot read too much into your stats because I believe that you won't be playing a particuarly high standard of cricket because America isn't a strong cricketing nation.
I will give you this example. We have an exchange student who has just come to our school. He has played rugby for Italy under 19's yet he isn't good enough to play for our first XV. Our first XV is in the third division in Wellington college rugby.
cricket player said:just let me ask you one question,
how do you know I am not good?
You will clearly say because I play cricket in USA and I average 27 with the bat with out asking do we play in a grassroot level.
At the stage when i go bat there is little overs left,I had to give a go at some stage and hit the ball hard in order to get some runs That is the reason i dont find much runs,Blaze said:By not getting out
So you are saying that I am a international class player?and i should average 60-100?Blaze said:Averaging 27 on artificial wickets in any country is average. International class players would be averaging 60-100 if they didn't play on grass wickets

Example
not an attacking player
the only time i get a chance to bat the way I like it is when we lose 6 early wickets,I have done that,Performed when the team needed me the most.
Grass is way to high, even timing it perfectly wont carry it to the boundry,so how you expect some one to get averages above 30?
cricket player said:So you are saying that I am a international class player?and i should average 60-100?
No I am not a International class player,Blaze said:If that's the way you read it and if that's the way that will make you feel better about things then yes that's what I meant..

Hmm, this is like you've played for USA U15?cricket player said:Who use to play top level such as my self in those countries,I played top level cricket in pakistan. I assume it was because I played in a test playing nation

under 19southern man said:So then what ''top level'' did you play at?
You are fighting a very uphill battle here.
cricket player said:under 19
Will be selected
Playing cricket in a test nation is playing high cricket,At least that is what blaze was suggesting, and That is what I posted, southern man said:But you had said that you had played at a high level in a test nation, So this is a lie? figures. Then you mention U19's thats all well and good, but it hasn't happened yet, Has it?
No i did not lie about under 19King_Ponting said:so u lied......... Example of the different standards of cricket...... Sean Ervine, international cricketer for zimbabwe (arguably one of their best players). Comes to Australia...... Strugles to stay in the first grade competition with fremantle..
