Murali and Wasim are popular even to non cricket fan because of large numbers.I mean not many people know Gerd Muller or Puskas even though they have higher goal/match ratio than Ronaldo but Pele is there because of higher goals.Average or goal/match isn't as important as wickets or goals mountain a player can make
