Lee was only effective before as no one was used to facing 95mph+ deliveries, and Teams with batting lineups hopeless against pace, like the WIndies and NZ who both contributed to his average of 16-17 early in his career. Now people have worked him out.

I think you'll find that most teams are hopeless against extreme pace that is accurate mate.

So, why is Lee more or less hopeless against most teams?

Its because he bowls either full or short...you need to vary your length to be effective.

The principal mantra to good bowling is not pace, but it is line and length.

This is why Shaun Pollock and Glenn McGrath are two best in the world, and Wasim Akram for that matter.

Always ??? the last time he played at home, Lee got nine wkts in three test against SA, with best being 3/77, thats hardly impressive!!
It's all greedy McGrrath and Warne's fault - they insist on taking a lot of wickets!
Oh i see, so when Lee isn't doing well its only because of those greedy bowlers .Interestingly Jason haven't been effected by McGrath and Warne, infact Bichel have also done well whenever he has been given a chance.

most of bichels wickets are tail enders

Lee has 89 wickets from 26 tests thats an ok record if you ask me

also, in shajah he could not bowl nearly as many overs as the other bowlers

His form decline has got nothing to do with the fact teams have worked him out.

I was watching vidios of him when he was bowling very well and the major diffrence was that:
1. His length was better
2. That he bowled much more outswingers were as now he seems to angle the ball back onto the bat from a good length rather than swing it away.

Guys if you want to see some one with real pace and accuracy and swing than you have to see Shoaib Akhtar, he is the fastest and more accurate and much better overall then Bret Lee 8D

He's taken a while to get there but I would have to agree, Shoaib can just clean up batting orders...Lee's never done that.

When Shoaib starts playing in every game (rather than picking and choosing to an extent) we'll see how good he really is.

Well marc thats another difference between Shoaib and Bret, that Shoaib gets to choose his games to an extent and Bret lee relies on the selectors to pick him

Well marc thats another difference between Shoaib and Bret that as you say that shoaib can choose and pick games to an extent and on the other hand Bret relies on the selectors to choose him for a game and i have a feeling that he is really struggling

My view is that no player should pick and choose like that though - smacks of sheer arrogance to me - it should be the player honoured to be selected not the team being honoured when the player decides he's going to play.

Oh, and why do you feel the need to have 2 separate log-ins?

exactly. He's been doing that almost lance klusener style and its frustrating to watch ! Lee has a baeutiful action and good strong run up, only if he had the length to match it.
