Streak carries Zimbabwe colours for Masters XI

One of the finest exponents of Zimbabwe cricket, Heath Streak has been signed to the Masters XI. Certainly the greatest bowler to represent the country and a fine allrounder at that, Streak is a huge addition to a team ever-growing strength. With a Test century to his name, he has certain credibility with the bat, whilst his 555 wickets between both major forms sets him apart with the ball.

Masters XI: L Klusener (SA), BC Lara (WI), Inzamam-ul-Haq (PAK), HH Streak (ZIM)

An Aussie in the mix

The under-rated and under-appreciated Damien Martyn has signed on to represent the Masters XI. Martyn is the first Aussie name to be confirmed, and the fifth member of the AllStar VI component of the Masters squad. In 67 Tests, he scored 4406 runs at 46.37, and he averaged 40.80 through 208 one-day internationals.

Masters XI: L Klusener (SA), BC Lara (WI), Inzamam-ul-Haq (PAK), HH Streak (ZIM), DR Martyn (AUS)

Going to take my revenge out on my dropping on the Test team on Steak and Klusener. Looking forward to a potentially a full season of cricket for the Blues. Backing myself to hit more sixes in FC then Klusener as well.

Shane Warne called to service

The finest exponent of legspin the international game has seen, Shane Warne is the latest signing to the Masters XI. Warne is the second Australian in the team, after Damien Martyn was announced in recent weeks. With his 991 international wickets, Warne will certainly be the key to the Masters XI bowling attack and should handle a large share of the bowling.

Masters XI: L Klusener (SA), BC Lara (WI), Inzamam-ul-Haq (PAK), HH Streak (ZIM), DR Martyn (AUS), SK Warne (AUS)
