The poor cricket tragic that I am, I have read every book by Mr Haigh except his latest Ashes effort (waiting for a signed copy), and the Wisden collection of obituaries:)

I would not start with 'The Big Ship', a little to indepth about the cricket of the period, for the 'new' cricket book reader.

'Many a Slip would be my choice, although it is a different name here in Aust.

A great list that! Every cricket book reader should read C.B. Fry by Wilton, I love that book, I am still waiting for him to write another book:-O

I must admit I have only read seven of the books on that list, although I do have a copy of the Ranji offering:)
