BARNES OUT
They had a blind cricket tourney at our uni a couple of months back, was really good to watch actually. Kept me out of class and had a few beers with the blind guys who weren't on the field.

Awesome :)

As I mentioned earlier I used to umpire it, was pretty funny one day where I judged a guy with no sight LBW, he was filthy, walked off asking if I was blind!

Rub it in why don't you?

What happens when someone hits the ball into the outfield and it stops rolling? (I assume the noise the ball makes is caused by motion).
In Blind Cricket there are 3 different levels of blindness.

There are some players who are completely blind and two other levels of limited eye sight.

In the comp I used to umpire, the ones with the best eyesights were not able to bowl to the completely blind players.

Correct me if i'm wrong as it might be different elsewhere.

You're right about the levels of blindness.

My U13's team played an exibition match against some NSW blind cricket players. (one of our players uncle was associated with the team. (Needless to say i got out first ball:laugh:)

was a few years ago but i think that fielders with a better level of vision feilded more in the outfield, to cover when the ball stops and the bells inside the ball do not ring.
