well sorry guys if i stuffed up. when the side wasnt submitted i didnt think it would be my duty to check who is available and who isnt, hence the vc4 picked the side.

i do feel though as in noral cricket if u play an un eligible player u forfeit the comp points etc.

isnt it possible when picking a team on an occasion like this to go manual team selection and whoever comes up straight away is the side, but if theres an injury do a swap for a similar player.

just a thought.

This is what we will be doing in future Simon...

As for the Wagh situation, his injury has worsened and he will be out for an extended period which now stands at 6 weeks...

Just a thought, but wouldnt Wagh being out for an extended time be unfair to the new manager? What I mean is,it wasnt his fault that the injured player was selected,so why should he take the punishment?

I hope the board members brood over this one before deciding!

To contra that - they get a win against the strongest side in the division when all their opponents have lost against them - so it's a fair swap IMO.

But that IS the rules, the simmer picks the team for the fixture in which the manager is sacked. It has no bearings whatsoever on the new manager. If the team wins,he is lucky. If not,oh well. But injuring a player for an extended time for something neither HE nor his predecessor did,is unfair IMO.

But what about it being unfair to me losing a game i probably shouldnt/wouldnt have. Im happy with the outcome now, lets just let it rest.
