The Codemasters HTTP ones are working for me.
Yes, apologies for the FTP links that didn't work - firstly a problem at Gamesradar's end then the FTP isn't working. Our supplier is checking it through now.

The HTTP links should work fine:

http://downloads.codemasters.com/cm...nternational_cricket_2005_demo_commentary.exe

http://downloads.codemasters.com/cm...rnational_cricket_2005_demo_no_commentary.exe

This game is F*cking awesome. Although the demo is a litlle easy to get runs i like the features. However i dislike the fact that u cant move around at the crease at all. thats rite no side to side before the ball is bowled nothing. But codemasters have got the mrf slazenger kookaburra and gray nick licences so the bats look awesome. Bout a million times better than cricket 2005.

Heh, mine crashed the moment the first ball went through to the wicket keeper, and I'm having trouble changing the controls from default... can you do that in the demo?

By the way KP, you can move around in the crease with 7 and 9 on the numpad.

edit: and... crashed again, on loading the second ball. Top demo this. :p

Meh, crashed a third time. Tried bowling this time, couldn't get to the second ball once again. There's obviously some sort of massive bug there.

Yeah, I'd say so. Has anyone else downloaded the non-commentary version? I can't imagine why my video card would cause it to crash at the exact same point every time (after the first ball is completed, before the second one), and have no problems at all running the game or playing the first ball.

Okay my computer meets the specifications and I've downloaded the no commentary demo and that's not a problem.

When I double click on the game it comes up with the windows error for the configuration utility. Does this have something to do with DirectX? Because I wasn't able to install that because it said it couldn't trust a necessary cab file or something.

Any help would be great...

Open mind job here, but from what I've seen, I expect C2005 to blow this out of the water..

I hope I'm proved wrong :)

Yup. The data CABinet file has to be installed (My virus checker gives lovely big warning messages as well - also did for EA's demo, though what with un-installing that particular waste of hard drive space after less than two hours, I think I'm ok)

Should run fine with the .CAB - won't run at all without it.

Cheers
