in all seriousness i don't understand the obsession over franchises in england as if that's what's made the bbl successful. try quality fta coverage and more compact scheduling first.Imagine playing a final on a Wednesday. Second rate competition which for some reason thinks it's better than the T20 Blast.
I don't watch the T20 Blast, pray tell why it's better? And I wouldn't wager many Australians have any knowledge of it either, so I'd dispute whether there's a comparison.Imagine playing a final on a Wednesday. Second rate competition which for some reason thinks it's better than the T20 Blast.
It's easier to have those things when there's 8 teams as opposed to 18 teams.in all seriousness i don't understand the obsession over franchises in england as if that's what's made the bbl successful. try quality fta coverage and more compact scheduling first.
I'm not a T20 man at all but it works. Compact and regular scheduling is a major part of it, having a quality game on every night is fantastic. Commentary is spot on, the colour of it adds to the spectacle, and there's a lot of very good cricket.in all seriousness i don't understand the obsession over franchises in england as if that's what's made the bbl successful. try quality fta coverage and more compact scheduling first.
yeah but even the 8-team construction feel slightly artificial and even then we were just adding two teams. how you're supposed to collapse 18 distinct team with distinct and well-defined support bases into 8 teams and not have it feel so contrived that many feel alienated is beyond me.It's easier to have those things when there's 8 teams as opposed to 18 teams.
So you don't think Lee's wide down the leg side on the first free hit ball had anything to do with it ?I don't watch the T20 Blast, pray tell why it's better? And I wouldn't wager many Australians have any knowledge of it either, so I'd dispute whether there's a comparison.
One thing that bugged me last night is they never showed vision of Doug the Rug outside the circle, that led to the moment that probably decided the game. Media seems to have forgotten about it too, and taken the low-hanging fruit that is the spilled last ball.
