seems odd for someone who doesn't drive a car to have to know how to change a tyre. surely you'd start with them learning to drive.

There hasn't been a world-class player who returned home with a monkey scratch and there never will be.

Sensitivity ain't bad, but you can still be a real man while doing it. Changing tyres, shaving properly (wet, if required), putting together flat pack furniture, reversing a trailer, these should all be pre-requisites.
Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men*, weak men create hard times

being sent home due to a monkey scratch would almost certainly be a health and safety thing enforced by CA, no? like, it'd be saying Cummins isn't fit to captain because he didn't play after being a close contract. the actual player wouldn't've been given a say in the matter

Cooper with a handy little 16 off four so far.

Siddle's a bit **** this year, huh?

International Regular
Duckett’s always been a good white ball player just not quite good enough for internationals particularly given the guys he has to compete with.

That was an impressive innings from Duckett, and Heazlett played pretty well too. The 26-run over off Garton was a fair effort.

LOL was just thinking this was one of the worst 50's you'd ever see.
5 times he completely miscued the ball in the air and it landed in the gap, 3 of those times all within 5 minutes.
many of the boundaries he hit came from lolly pop balls.
can be funny how we watch the same game and perceive things so differently.
that's cricket!!

This game doing nothing to dispel the line of thought that nothing interesting happens in Adelaide

I mean, the guy once returned from a World Cup because of a scratch on the face by a monkey.

If I'm going to continue to warm to Australia as a whole under the wonderful leadership of Lord Pat, you'd better not pick this jumped up prick...ever.
SURELY to god he insisted and did everything he possibly could to stay on and play.
SURELY it was only the strong advice of the medical team that he returned home.
SURELY we should give him the benefit of the doubt?
If the above is not true, his new nickname for me is either Jake MCJERK or PANZEE BOY.
I'd personally probably go with PANZEE BOY given a monkey was involved.

This ''short'' run is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in cricket.
Good work from the umpires with the 5 run penalty, totally justified.
